news-details

Last week, the christening ceremony of the third Monomaran crew tender “COS Mariner” took place at Next Generation Shipyard in Lauwersoog.

The “COS Mariner” thus strengthens the fleet of Coastwise Offshore Services in addition to the sister ships “COS Master” and “COS Mate.

Coastwise offshore services has thanked the Keizer family, the staff of Next Generation Shipyards and all subcontractors for the pleasant cooperation in the past 4 years in which both Coastwise Offshore Service and Next Generation have grown.

The “COS Mariner” Monomaran-Endurance class NG2727 meets the increasing demand for efficient and comfortable transfer of people and goods in the offshore wind farms. The innovative design combines the advantages of a traditional catamaran and a monohull. The aluminum Monomaran Crew Tenders have a length of 27 meters, can accommodate 30 IP, and carry 15 to 22 tons of cargo.

The vessels are employable for both O&M activities and survey activities. In the coming week the vessel will be prepared for its first assignment in the offshore wind in France.
